Waleed Al-Hanafy received the BSc and MSc from Menoufia University, Egypt in 1996 and 2002, respectively, and the PhD from Strathclyde University, UK in 2010, all in Electronic Engineering. He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Menoufia University. His research interests are mainly in the signal processing for communications in particular precoding and equalisation methods of MIMO systems, adaptive power/bit loading approaches, Multi-User MIMO, OFDM systems, cooperative communications, cognitive radio, and resource allocation of wireless communication systems. He is a member of IEEE and EURASIP societies, TPC member of Mosharaka for Researches and Studies - Conferences, and a reviewer of many conferences and journals. (last updated: Sep. 15, 2016) |
